Can you believe it's Friday already? It seems like this week just flew by for me!
All of a sudden, it was time to go garage saleing again! This Friday, instead of going to garage sales, I went to a couple thrift stores. It was not the very best day to be out in the weather and I wasn't willing to brave the rain!
I found a couple deals at the thrift stores, but today, I'd really like to show you some of the deals I got last week. Especially, since I didn't get to show you last week!
We picked this dresser up for FREE! It was awful looking, but had a good, solid base. I knew it had lots of potential! One of my dear friends came over today and brought some extra paint and a paint brush. I praise the Lord for her!
My dear friend helped me transform that icky, old dresser into this lovely, clean and bright dresser. It is now in my son's room and he loves it!
The cost of the dresser?? FREE The cost of the paint??? FREE The time with my friend??? PRICELESS!
Another good find last week was this wooden, kitchen cart. It was a bit wobbly and had some water marks on the top, but I thought it would work for $5. Guess what? My friend brought over her sander and we completely sanded the top. We tightened up the screws and then put a couple good layers of polyurethane on the top.
It looks great, but I'm going to have to show you an AFTER picture, AFTER it dries! Be sure to come back and see the end result!

Beautiful vacation pictures and looks like everyone had a good time. Looks like everyone is going to be all fixed up here soon with lots of new furniture. Beautiful job!
Last week I went to my cousin's garage sale. Well Mom has been wanted a small sofa/loveseat instead of the long couch we have in the Living room. Well guess what I found! A loveseat, it was 75.00 but my cousin gave it to me for 50.00. It had been my aunts and it was practically new. So glad my mom waited, she almost was going to buy a brand new sofa for like 300.00! My next piece of furniute I would like to find ...a recliner like the one you got Dave a few weeks ago:) I love your Friday finds Anna!!!
