Fun with Family

Our Saturday was a fun one. We started it out with some cleaning. It's amazing how fast cleaning can go when you don't have a lot of clutter or a big house!

Everyone was very excited to go to the next town over and get some pizza from the woodstove. Unfortunately, we found out when we got there that the pizza is not served until around 7pm. The stores all close around 1pm, so we walked around trying to find a little place that was open. After what seemed like an eternity to the children, we were able to find a place that had food to go. We took our food to a little park and waited for the park to open around 2pm.

This park was very nice! The children all had a great time! There was even a basketball hoop for the older ones. It was a very nice day and there were several families out enjoying it.

After the park, we finished our afternoon by putting tracts in the mailboxes along the roads. Everyone divided up in to pairs. One group took one side of the road and another group took the other side.

We are so grateful for this time together and for many memories made!

SIDE NOTE : Some people have mentioned that they would like to leave comments, but haven't been able to in the past. I did a little bit of changing, and now you are able to leave comments. If you have a google account, you can do it that way OR if you don't have an account, you can leave a comment as Anonymous. If you go this route, just leave your first name or initials so that I know who you are and can post your comment. I have had some issues with spam, so if I don't know you or if the comment doesn't make sense, I won't post the comment. Thanks!

Hebrews 11:13,15,16

... These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off and were PERSUADED of them, and EMBRACED them, and CONFESSED that they were STRANGERS and PILGRIMS on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country... But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
