We Have Arrived!

Praise God, We have arrived!

After having a little bit of a rocky start to our travels, we were so glad to be able to make our second flight in time! We were able to text a few people to pray and we're so thankful that they were willing. Our first flight was late and it looked like we were going to have only 30 minutes to get to our International flight. Thankfully, it ended up being a little less than hour. Our gates were not close together, but we had the time needed!

We arrived in Rome and the people we are renting our apartment from were at the airport to pick us up. This was a huge blessing as well!

There is a little grocery store just around the corner and so we made some supper, unpacked a little and then went to bed. Praise God, all of us were able to sleep all night. We pulled ourselves out of bed around 9:30am (3:30am Central Time) and started our day! We are all a bit tired today, but we are determined to stay up without any naps!

We have started passing out tracts to those we meet as we walk. We walked around where we are living and the little town that we are in looks like it will be a great fit for us. The biggest blessing is that the train is just a short walk away and it takes us directly in to Rome without any connections.

* Prayer Request - Please be praying for Dave's knee to heal from a recent injury. We do a lot of walking here and it is hurting him pretty bad.

Hebrews 11:13,15,16

... These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off and were PERSUADED of them, and EMBRACED them, and CONFESSED that they were STRANGERS and PILGRIMS on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country... But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
