Welcome to our ministry blog. We invite you to read about what God is doing as we reach the world for Christ
from the streets of Rome. As you read, please pray! Our next ministry trip will be April 2 - May 1, 2018.

Big Events

This is going to have to be a quick post, but we wanted you to have this information so that you would know how to pray….

There are big things happening here and the atmosphere seems to be even bigger than the events that took place last year with the crowning of a new p*pe.

For those of you who are not aware, Sunday, April 27th two p*pes will be sainted. According to the Bible, once you are saved, you are a saint. If you have never looked at this, it makes a great Bible Study! According to Cath*licism, there are several steps required and several processes. Here is one of them…

"Saint" (contracted "St" or "S.") To be canonized a saint, at least two miracles must have been performed through the saint's intercession after his or her death (i.e., an additional miracle after that granting beatification). Canonization is a statement by the church that the person certainly enjoys the Beatific Vision. The saint is assigned a feast day which may be celebrated anywhere within the Catholic Church, although it may or may not appear on the general calendar or local calendars as an obligatory feast, parish churches may be built in his or her honor, and the faithful may freely and without restriction celebrate and honor the saint.

Interesting to note, Pope J*hn Paul II does not meet all the requirements, but they are sainting him anyway.

There are several thousand people here for this event, many of them Polish because Pope J*hn Paul II was Polish. We have passed out all the Bibles we had in Polish and we are about out of tracts. We continue to pass out all the other tracts we have and also Bible verses.

Here are a couple links that may help you get a grasp on what is going on. I will also try to post pictures tomorrow.

Above all, we need your prayers! We appreciated them so much!!

Thanks for your note. It will take a while to read through those websites, very interesting.
Sending our love and praying.

Hebrews 11:13,15,16

... These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off and were PERSUADED of them, and EMBRACED them, and CONFESSED that they were STRANGERS and PILGRIMS on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country... But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
