Our internet has been slow going the last couple days, but we are back on for now! I am taking advantage of it while I can!
Last night, we went in to Rome and had a nice, little family outing. It was fun to walk around the streets of Rome and see a different taste of the city. Usually, when we have stayed outside of Rome, the trains to our home have not been late enough to really enjoy Rome at night. This time, we have been very blessed with an apartment in a great location for train travel.
While in Rome, we were heading in to an elevator to get on a subway down below and there was a couple in the elevator with us. We asked them where they were from and they said they were from Korea. Dave pulled out a Korean tract and gave one to each of them. When the lady saw that it was in her own language, she gave a little cry and covered her mouth in astonishment and excitement. What a different response than we are used to seeing in America! We pray that these two people would be saved and that they would take the gospel back to their country.
We are gearing up for the next week. Tract and Bible Distribution will go in to full force this week as tomorrow starts with Palm Sunday. We will also be going to the Good Friday service and than finishing the week with Easter. Thousands upon thousands throng the V*tican area during these times. People come from all over the world!
Please be in prayer for us, especially this week. We have known from past experience that there are spiritual attacks against us during this time. Our energy quickly fades as the week progresses. Please pray we would go in the grace of our Lord Jesus and in the power of His strength.
Please also pray for those who will receive tracts. If one person got saved this week, it would be well worth everything! Pray that we would be in the right place at the right time to give the Gospel to that person whose heart God has been preparing.
... These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off and were PERSUADED of them, and EMBRACED them, and CONFESSED that they were STRANGERS and PILGRIMS on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country... But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
