Safely Arrived

I woke up this morning to the most beautiful sound! … my cell phone ringing with a text message! Dave is able to send and receive texts while he is away from us. This is already proving to be a great blessing.

Thank you for your prayers! Dave has arrived safely and he is already having pizza with the neighbor. This year, we get to stay in the same apartamento that we stayed in last year. We were able to develop a friendship with an elderly lady downstairs whose name is Anna. I remember that last year, she asked me when we would be returning and I couldn't tell her when. I just didn't know. It broke her heart to see us go. She came out in her bathrobe at 6:30am to tell us goodbye. I know she was thrilled to see Dave again and I am so glad he has someone to have supper with!

Dave arrived safe, but his luggage did not. We have been told that it is on its way and that it will be delivered. Please pray that everything goes well with that. Most of the tracts and Bibles that he will need these next two weeks are in that suitcase!

Thank you again for praying!

What great news to know he is making contact with a familiar face. Praise God for his safety and praying the luggage is there soon.

Hebrews 11:13,15,16

... These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off and were PERSUADED of them, and EMBRACED them, and CONFESSED that they were STRANGERS and PILGRIMS on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country... But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
