The German people are very different than Italians. I've mentioned it in other posts before but we are reminded when we visit Germany. Dave has had an interesting week in Germany!
Tracts were passed out in the central part of Munich to passersby, tracts were distributed in mailboxes and visits were made with those we'd like to see strengthened in the faith. Time was short but we pray God would send the increase!
Dave will fly out early Sunday afternoon, our time, and will head back to Rome. Please pray for his safety and that the last remaining days in Italy would be time well spent.
On the homefront, we are anxious to see Dave but we know his heart is with the souls in Italy. Our prayers go out for him as well and for the hearts he longs to touch.
... These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off and were PERSUADED of them, and EMBRACED them, and CONFESSED that they were STRANGERS and PILGRIMS on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country... But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
