Update from Rome

This has been a very interesting trip, to say the least. For the last twelve years, we've basically done the same things, with slight variations. Our goal has always been to share the Gospel with the people we meet here, but there has always been plenty of people to talk with and share with. In the past, we've run out of the 1000's of tracts that we had.

This trip, God is showing us the "one" that the Shepherd went to seek. He's shown us that when we pray for direction, He gives it. And when we pray for the specific place to be and when to go, we need to be ready and waiting. Our "going" has been small. The people that we've talked with have not been very many. But each one, has been so, so important.

We know we're to be here. We know God has a purpose. What if we came to talk to just that "one"? Even though each trip has had the focus of the Gospel, we'll be honest and say that we may have taken the amount of people for granted. All of a sudden, each individual person has greater significance than they have in the past, where as before, they may have been lost in the crowd.

Please join us in praying for the "one's" that we get to talk with...and have talked with. Please pray that we'll continue to have opportunities and that we'll always be ready.

On a more personal note:
Our original flights that were to leave this next week, have been cancelled. We were able to find a different flight home, but we won't be leaving until the end of April. Italy continues to be in lockdown and our travel is currently limited to the grocery store. Praise the Lord, He opens doors there too!

Hebrews 11:13,15,16

... These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off and were PERSUADED of them, and EMBRACED them, and CONFESSED that they were STRANGERS and PILGRIMS on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country... But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
