Where thou art - that - is Home. ~Emily Dickinson
Every house where love abides
And friendship is a guest,
Is surely home, and home sweet home
For there the heart can rest.~Henry Van Dyke
We realize more and more that our home is really not here on earth. We will never really feel completely at home here, and if we ever do, there is something very wrong with that! And yet, where you reside... your home... your castle, is a safe place where you can go to get away from everything, where you can feel love, where you are accepted. A home is so important to a family. Having that kind of place is so important no matter where you are!
This is why the last week has been so exciting as we have watched God work in all the details to provide that home. We are so glad He sees the big picture and leads us accordingly, if we allow it. He has worked in our lives this week as we have trusted Him, sometimes with difficulty, but what joy when it is said and done!
For three months, our home will be near Rome, Italy. We have been able to find an apartment outside of Rome, but close enough to get there easily. It is fully furnished and has a little courtyard, as well as a balcony up above.
We are so excited to see how God might use us there!
