We're Here!

Ciao Amici! Hello Friends!

We have arrived in Italy and so far, we're doing well. Thursday proved to be a very long day, but after arriving in the morning, we knew we had to stay awake for most of the day or we would never get adjusted. This was a little difficult considering the fact that we all got about 2 hours sleep on the airplane, some even less. We had a lot to see and do though and it kept us excited and interested. Our house is wonderful and just a short walk to the beach! There are soooooo many seashells... we even found a tiny starfish that was still living. It's now happy to be off the shore and in the water. We unpacked most of our things and ate some supper and at about 4:30pm the day was done. Some children were especially delirious, and others fell asleep while drawing! ..... see above picture

Today was spent mostly in Rome and now we are soon off to bed. This time, it is much later and we are all adjusting nicely. I will fall asleep with the sweet sounds of my children saying, "Momma, can I have another tract to give."
