A Weekend to Remember

Many of you may all ready remember how busy this weekend is in Rome and you may also remember the festivities that go on.

This is definitely a weekend to remember Dave in your prayers....

"Good Friday",  as many like to call it, is celebrated in Rome by the Pope holding a special mass at the Coliseum. Many people from all over the world are intrigued by it and so they begin arriving in the early evening, several hours ahead, in order to get a good seat. For many years, our family has gone early and passed out Bibles and tracts in several different languages. People are eager to take this literature as they think that its part of the program. These people have a few hours to sit and it's our desire that God use this literature to open their hearts to the Truth.

This year, Dave arrived in the early evening and began talking with people and giving them John and Romans in their own language. Two ladies he talked with were from Mizzou and TCU, here in the States! He shared a DVD with them. Another, a man from Senegal, was selling trinkets nearby. He came and asked for a Bible and Dave gave him a John and Romans. He spoke French. Please pray for these people and for the others that he spoke with.

Saturday will be a big day near the Metro passing out tracts and Bibles.

Sunday, there will be special Easter Masses near the V*tican and lots of opportunity to give the true Gospel of Jesus Christ through faith alone.

This weekend is one that has been under much spiritual attack in the past. Please pray that Dave will stand strong through the power of God's might and that he will be in the right place at the right time ... for protection, but also to give Scripture to someone who's heart is already being touched.

We appreciate all of your prayers!

Hebrews 11:13,15,16

... These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off and were PERSUADED of them, and EMBRACED them, and CONFESSED that they were STRANGERS and PILGRIMS on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country... But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
