It is amazing the different people from all over the world that Dave meets in Rome. This last weekend was no exception. It is the main reason we go to Italy around Easter.
His weekend began with the Good Friday service that is at the Coliseum. While there, he talked with Emily and Caroline. They were from Mizzou and TCU. They took a DNA and the Bible dvd.
A guy from Senagal was selling trinkets near by and noticed what Dave was doing. He came up and asked Dave for a tract. He spoke French and so Dave gave him a John and Romans in his language.
A couple, Gabor and his wife, came from Hungary. They were Catholics and Dave was able to talk with them for about 20 min.
On Sunday, Dave made sure he was near all the Easter festivities. Michelle, from Ireland, is in a crisis and needs prayer. She says she wants to know God. Dave gave her a New Testament and she is very eager to read it and seek after God.
A Russian couple came and talked with Dave. They had a little boy with them. Dave gave them a tract and then after they had walked off, he remembered that he had a John/Romans in Russian. They were still close by so he rushed off to catch them! Please pray that they read God's word!
There are so many more stories just like these.... all people God has created and loves and wants to be in a relationship with. Please continue to keep Dave in your prayers!
*** On the Home Front ***
We are all doing well. We're missing Dave but happy to be praying and doing what is needed so he can be the hands and feet of Jesus! We will be at Oak Lane Baptist Church's Annual Camp Meeting this weekend with a table for the ministry. Please pray for our hearts there.
